Confession is to say the same thing as. There are three types of confession that we ought to be aware of:
1. The Confession of the un-believer unto salvation – Romans 10:9
2. The Confession of the Christian unto restoration of fellowship 1 John 1:9
3. The Confession of what rightfully belongs to you in Christ. Heb 3:1
Our introduction to the power of the Confessing of the Word of God took place at the New Birth.
Confession of the Word of God can accomplish several things.
a. Confession of the Word of God enables us to sow the word into our heart
b. Confession of the Word of God causes faith to come to us
c. Confession of the Word of God renews our mind to the word
d. Confession of the Word of God changes our heart
e. Confession of the Word of God keeps us focused on the answer
f. Confession of the Word of God sets the law of faith into motion
g. Confession of the Word of God puts the angels to work for us
